Whatever happened.......

Whatever happened to the summer? All it seems to have done this month is rain. Fingers crossed that we get an Indian summer. I've been busy, busy with my crafting and even managed to get some decorating done this month.
My living room finally got it's much needed revamp. I have done it in a pale lavender color and stencilling a border with a celtic knot symbol. Very apt considering my heritage. I can also put my pictures up on the walls of my beloved wolves.
I am such a fan of wolves, there is something mystical and beautiful about these animals.
I have so far managed to make 22 handmade christmas cards but I still have a way to go though. I have also managed quite a bit of scrapbooking as well. It's amazing what a "facelift" of my flat has done for my creativity.

Thursday 17th

It's rather dull here at the moment. I finally completed my TV samples for one of my friends and psoted those off. I have been really pleased with how they came out. Until they are aired I cannot post them as they will be a premiere. So I am very excited by this. I'm now doing some birthday cards up for forum friends and also a very good friend of mine who's birthday is on sunday. As soon as I have done that I will post it here on my blog.
I've just started playing with the embroidery stickers from starform and have been having real fun with them. Above is a card I did for my mum using a butterfly sticker. I have also invested in a couple of prick and stitch stencils as well. I got these from www.craftyideasbykaz.co.uk. Karen has a great selection of crafting goodies on her site.

Friday 11th July
I did these two cards up using the MY Matmate which my friend Maggie Yeaman designed. She asked me to do up some samples for demo purposes. I have been having so much fun finding different ways to use it.
These papers were purchased through the D.A.I.S.I.E Club. The Designer is Lucy Hampton. They were incredible designs and papers to work with.
